High Willamette

Today the river is forcasted to reach its
high point at Corvallis and then on to
Portland...
I again biked out on the footbridge to
VRC and took some shots of the rolling
waters. The sun was a welcome visitor
after 8.5 inches since the beginning of
the year. Many streams are still high and
people are very stressed about the damage
to their property. We expect that the water
will receed for a while this weekend and we
will see some sunshine for a change. Here
are a couple of photos of the Willamette
at close to maximum flow.
