The Rains have stopped for a while now
and in their place, fog and biting cold.
Now, when I cycle to work, my hands
have to relearn to bear up under the pain
of wind inhanced sub-freezing temps.
The sun did not appear at all today in
the urban area though at LCC, the local
community college situated out of the
city and about 300ft higher, the sun did
make an appearance. The forecast calls
for some sun tomorrow and not so cold.
I have moved the van as far into the carport
as I can to allow norma to give her car
some protection from the freeze that locks
up the door locks. We use the heated key
method. During these weeks, our turtle
"Stretch" has gone into a semi hiburnation
state. Doesn't eat much if anything. She is
at least 10 years old and about 10 inches
long. I will include some photos next blog.
