Towards Fall

The daylight slowly shrinks and I ride to work in the dark.
The mornings are a bit cooler and soon the rains...
Well, here are a few photos from the homestead.
First, looking west from Friendly St. The large
cedar holds two hanging baskets and a rhodededendron
in front with a few timber bamboo (ht: up to 30').
Next we see norma's tub of snapdragons. They are
a great favorite in the neighborhood! The third photo
looks at the house from the southeast. Next we see
the south side of the house with the tubs of bamboo
clearly visable. The last picture shows the south patio
where we catch the sun and read the New York Times
on Sundays. There are potted bamboo, 3 banana plants.
A Gunera, strawberries and hanging and earthbound
herbs and flowers. The summer has passed with great
memories and now we look to the fall and winter. The
state Meteorologist has predicted a wet and possibly
snowy winter. We will see. This reporter will post
further bullitins. Love to all
