When I awoke the sky was promising snow and
soon it began. By the time I had to leave for work,
there was about one inch on ground and trees.
The large bamboo near the house was bending
low and our satellite dish was not able to find
the signal. Guess dishes don't work so well when
covered with snow. I gave the bamboo a couple
of shakes, pelting myself, and set off. By going
slow and keeping the brake on for downhill, I was
able to make my way to work. The only problems
were on the overpass where the unmelted snow
combined with heaped up snow from passing
snowplows, made a tight-knuckled passage down
to the light. The photo shown was taken by my
wife norma with a Canon A95 Digital Camera.
