Grumpy Dick


A few days ago, I received a package in
the mail. To my surprise, it contained a
T-shirt with the logo of "Grumpy Dick's
Seafood Grill and Bar in Plantation, Fla.
My Brother-in-law Steve and his wife
Helen are in the process of moving to Fla.
The weather here has been moderating. From
a frozen morning of 18 to a more reasonable
35. I continue to ride the bike, but a few
days ago I noticed a sound that required
immmediate action. Upon inspection,
the front hub had cracked a bearing and
I hurried to the bike shop and bought a
set of ball bearings. I spent the afternoon
taking the hub apart and rebuilding the
bearing. Now I am back on the road
and enjoying smooth passages.
