Sunday at the Truffle Trot

Today, norma and doug ran a 4-mile race around a park in Eugene. Though the weather threatened all day, it did not rain on the contestants. We got there early because I was not sure of finding parking but that proved no problem. We walked around the park for a while, watched the running of the 2-mile, then it was time to start the race. Norma was packed in about 2/3 way to the rear of the pack but she had no problems till somehow she dropped a glove. Our neighbor doug kindly waited for her to pick it up then the two of them continued down the course. She finished the race in a little over 40 minutes, a respectable time for a first time effort. I shot some video and took some digital photos.
