Trips and Demos

Norma and I flew to Oklahoma to attend my niece's wedding.
The flight was a bit bumpy but not too bad. We arrived in
Denver and met up with my nephew Harold and his companion
Kelly. We flew to Tulsa and then by rental car to Bartlesville. The
next day, Harold and I drove to Norman and he presented a
seminar at the National Weather Center on the campus of the
University of Oklahoma. I videotaped it and have burned some
DVD copits for our friends. After the presentation, We met some
of his fellow tornado-chasers at a local campus hangout. We then
drove back to Bartlesville to attend a pre wedding diner. later we
sat around talking. The next day norma and I helped prepare the
Deleware Tribal Center for the wedding reception. I cleaned up
around the entrance. The wedding was held in a small church
near the center and attended by at least 100 people. I shot video
there as well. The reception was well attended and I got some
more footage. All to soon it was time to get in the car and head
to Tulsa. The flight back was a bit bumpy but not too difficult.
We arrived in Portland hungry and had a difficult time finding
food for vegs. At last home and something good from the ref.
The next weekend, we attended a rally to end the war and bring
our troops home. I shot some video and digital stills. That's it
for now. Photos include norma at the rally, Kelly at the wedding,
A speaker at the rally and a rally banner.
