I was just getting ready to leave for Yoga Class, when I noticed flames coming from the house 2 north of me. I immediately rushed to the front of the house and saw great clouds of smoke and flames pouring from the roof and back of the dwelling. I called 911 and the operator told me that I was the second call on this issue. Shortly, fire trucks could be heard in the distance and very soon multiple units pulled up. The firemen put it out in about 20 minutes but smoke remained for several hours as did the crew. No one was injured but the residents' dog succumbed to smoke.
